🎨 Branding in Manta

Manta allows you to customize the branding of your instance to match your organization's identity and visual preferences. This includes customizing the logo, colors, and other visual elements to create a cohesive user experience.

Only admins can access branding settings which are located in the Admin Panel > Theme section of the application.

Customizing Your Branding​

Theme modes​

There are two theme modes available in Manta:

  • Light Mode: A bright and vibrant theme suitable for well-lit environments.
  • Dark Mode: A darker theme that is easier on the eyes in low-light conditions

Each of these modes can be customized individually to better fit your branding needs.

You can upload a custom logo for your Manta instance. The logo will be displayed in the top-left corner of the application.

Uploaded logo will be used as favicon as well.

Colors​

There is a whole pallette of colors that you can customize to match your branding guidelines. This includes primary, secondary, tertiary colors with their respective "on" colors (text/icons on top of those colors), background colors, surface colors, and error colors.

For better theme creation it's recomemended to use tools like Material Theme Builder.

Besides colors that define backgrounds and surfaces, you can also customize alert colors for different alert types such as success, warning, and error.

You can preview your branding changes in real-time as you make adjustments.
